I am a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (Mouth, Jaw and Face Surgeon) and a Head and Neck Surgeon. That means I treat problems in the face, jaw and mouth using a variety of surgical and non-surgical techniques.
My first appointment as a Consultant Surgeon was within the North West London NHS Hospital Trust in 2009. By then I had already completed 20 years of training. Since then I have done more training and have grown my expertise to include:
- Trans-oral robotic surgery (TORS) – using robotic techniques to operate on the back of the mouth and/or the throat.
- Temporomandibular joint surgery – surgery on the jaw joint, including jaw joint replacement.
- Electrochemotherapy – palliative care.
