Mr Luke Cascarini welcomes patients who have private medical insurance or are choosing to pay for their own treatment.
For patients with private medical insurance
Luke works with all the major insurance companies including Aviva, AXA PPP, Bupa, The Exeter, Freedom Healthcare, General & Medical, Vitality Health and WPA.
You will need to obtain authorisation from your insurance company before treatment, so please ensure you bring this and details of your insurance company, your policy number and a claim form to your appointment to ensure the authorisation and billing process runs smoothly.
Please check your limit for outpatients fees as this will include Luke’s consultation fees plus any scans and tests you may require.
If you require an operation, the hospital where you are being treated will obtain authorisation from your insurance company, who will pay the fees on your behalf.
Please be aware that your policy will include an excess which you will be obliged to cover. Details of this can be found in your health insurance policy document.
For patients paying for their own treatment
If you are self-funding, Luke’s consultation fees are:
Initial consultation fee – £300.00
Follow-up consultation fee – £200.00
Any X-rays or scans which you may require following your consultation are billed separately by the hospital and will usually need to be paid for on the day of the appointment.
If you require hospital treatment, we will be able to give you an up to date and accurate cost for you.
This varies depending on the hospital where you will be treated.
All invoices are due for payment on the date of consultation/treatment and must be settled in full prior to consultation/surgery.
